About Parsha Plan-It

Parsha Plan-It is an innovative early childhood education initiative that brings the weekly Torah portion to life through developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning experiences. Designed specifically for preschool classrooms, Parsha Plan-It helps teachers move beyond crafts and worksheets to create meaningful learning environments that nurture children's curiosity, creativity, emotional growth, and connection to Torah values.

Rooted in the principles of child development research, Parsha Plan-It provides educators with practical tools, classroom inspiration, and thoughtfully designed resources that align with the way young children naturally learn. Each Parsha is explored through storytelling, sensory experiences, practical life activities, language development, science, art, nature, and social-emotional learning, creating a rich and integrated educational experience.

At its heart, Parsha Plan-It seeks to help teachers and parents cultivate wonder, kindness, responsibility, and a lifelong love of Torah. By connecting timeless Jewish teachings with authentic childhood experiences, Parsha Plan-It empowers educators to transform the weekly Parsha into meaningful opportunities for exploration, discovery, and personal growth. Through curriculum materials, teacher training, classroom resources, and educational media, Parsha Plan-It is building a community of educators dedicated to inspiring the next generation through joyful, purposeful, and deeply engaging Jewish learning.

What guides every Parsha Plan-It resource

Developmentally Appropriate

Every resource is designed with the young child in mind - short attention spans, concrete thinking, big curiosity, and a love of hands-on discovery. Materials meet children where they are and grow with them.

Deeply Meaningful

Parsha is explored through storytelling, sensory experiences, practical life, art, nature, and social-emotional learning. The goal is not just knowledge but a genuine connection to Torah values.

Immediately Practical

Teachers can open a resource and use it right away. Parents can engage at home without needing a background in Jewish studies. Simple, clear, and ready for real classrooms.
